Reviews of everything, and fights with restaurants

Supported

Yelp's crowd-sourced reviews of restaurants and shops were a habit for city dwellers in 2010, and its iPhone app was among the first with an augmented-reality feature (Monocle). Small businesses accused it of manipulating reviews, and Google's rumoured acquisition attempt had fallen through in late 2009.
